Tour Eiffel || Canon EOS 40D/12-24mm | 1/160s | f/10 | ISO 100 | Tripod

Lisa and I spent a week in Paris and had a fantastic time! Lisa was so very patient with me. We’ll start off the Paris photos with a simple one of the tower and the fantastic clouds we had one day.

    I love, love, love this photo and I loved our trip. When can we go back?

  2. Paris, huh? Where HAVEN’T you been, and WHY haven’t I gotten an invite???

  3. Emily W. says:

    So VERY cool!! Did you use a tripod? I just love it! :)

  4. Ryan says:

    @Lisa: Hmmm good question! Does next week work for you?

    @Geoffrey: Oh, there are many places still on the “To See” list… like Alaska, Peru, Greece, Italy… to name a few! And next time we go somewhere for our anniversary I’ll make sure to invite you, although Lisa may have something to say about that! :)

    @Emily: Thanks! I did use my tripod there! Luckily you can use your tripod at the Eiffel Tower, apparently tripods aren’t a security risk on the ground :)

    What I like about this picture is that I’ve never seen one done quite like it of the Eiffel Tower. Before I clicked on the link to see the photo, I was expecting the usual picture where the whole tower is captured and you are looking at it level rather than up at it. It’s unique.

  6. Liz says:

    Oh, Ryan, you see the world through a truly unique lens. Bravo! I am so excited to see the rest . . .

  7. Heather says:

    The clouds were beautiful. How much for just the pic in 8×10 gloss?
